Judge Baylson allows a party desiring to file a reply brief, limited to 15 pages, in support of any motion to do so within seven days of service of the brief responding to the motion. Surreply briefs, however, are not accepted without leave of the Court.

Judge Baylson requires counsel to discuss the following topics among themselves prior to the Preliminary Pretrial Conference and to submit (by fax to chambers) a Conference Information Report which covers: jurisdictional defects, if any; prospects of settlement; schedules for remaining pretrial proceedings including discovery, dispositive motions, exchange of expert reports, pretrial memoranda, etc.; conduct of discovery; a possible date for entry of the case into the trial pool.
