  • Do you have any special rules governing courtroom decorum (e.g., addressing the court, dealing with opposing counsel and witnesses, proper attire, etc.)? Judge Armbruster may eject people with tongue jewelry, or hats that are not part of religious protocol. In addition, litigants not arriving directly from work should not wear shorts or t-shirts. Also, attire with sexually suggestive or politically provocative logos or words, or suggestive of drug use (example: marijuana leaves) should be avoided.

  • Are there any special practices or procedures lawyers appearing before you should know about? Judge Armbruster will give some latitude regarding methods of litigation and presentation of evidence to parties not represented by counsel.

  • Any suggestions, admonitions or recommendations you would make to lawyers appearing before you? Parties should expect relaxed judicial decorum. However, Hearsay Evidence is scrupulously rejected.
